April 19, 2012: Results from the CMS national survey on patient experiences with home health agencies are now available on the agency’s Quality Care Finder website. The new tool allows prospective patients and caregivers to compare home health agencies by looking at patient survey results. The survey, which will be updated every four months with new survey data, will complement the clinical measures already available on the agency’s Home Health Compare website.
According to the survey website, the intent of the survey (Home Health Care CAHPS Survey or HHCAHPS) is to measure the experiences of people receiving home health care from Medicare-certified home health agencies.
